Custom Blazers & Sport Coats Bangkok

A blazer that fits properly through the shoulders and chest is one of the most versatile garments a wardrobe can hold, and one of the hardest to buy off the rack. Khaosan Tailor makes custom blazers and sport coats to your measurements, with fabric selection, measuring and fittings all done at your hotel or home in Bangkok.

Blazer and Jacket Styles

Classic navy blazers with gold or horn buttons, unstructured summer jackets in linen or hopsack, tweedy sport coats for cooler climates back home, and modern slim-cut jackets for evenings out. You choose the lapel, buttons, pockets (patch, flap or jetted), vents, lining and level of shoulder structure. Half-lined and unlined constructions are popular with clients who will wear the jacket in hot weather.

Fabrics for Every Climate

Because most of our clients are travelling, we stock jacketing for both Thailand’s heat and the climate you are flying home to: linens, cotton blends and fresco-style open weaves for the tropics; flannels, tweeds and heavier wools for autumn and winter wear. Browse our materials page, then see and feel the options when we visit.

The Process

Blazers follow the same process as our suits: a measurement and design appointment at your hotel, a fitting a day or two later, and completion in as few as three days, subject to sufficient fittings. Pair it with custom trousers for a complete separates wardrobe. Pricing is on our what we charge page.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between a blazer and a sport coat?

A blazer is traditionally a solid-colour jacket (classically navy) with contrasting buttons; a sport coat is a patterned or textured jacket worn with contrasting trousers. We make both, and the construction choices are yours either way.

Can you make a jacket to wear in both hot and cold climates?

Yes, we have all-year-round fabrics. Mid-weight wools with half lining travel well across seasons. If you split time between climates, many clients order two jackets in different weights, which is exactly what our fabric range is set up for.

How long does a custom blazer take?

As few as three days, subject to sufficient fittings.
